In this first in a series, Captain Recovery and his trusty
tow truck, Big Blue, save the day by rescuing a plane
that has gotten stuck off the runway.
Here is what people are saying about the book.
“My Big Tow: The Adventures of Captain Recovery is a fantastic story about the wonderful fantasy of five-year-old Darren, who likes playing with his favorite blue tow truck in the sandbox with his sister Kaylee.
“… Vibrant-colored illustrations show all the best scenes of My Big Tow, inviting young readers to keep up with the adventures of a brave tow truck driver.”
- MBR Children’s Bookwatch
“Captain Recovery and his trusty truck Big Blue take on a variety of towing jobs; this adventure is towing an airplane. Joshua Otero’s illustrations are lifelike and detailed. This series should have legs — I mean wheels.”
- Cape Cod Times
“…if you want to initiate your son into the work that you do on a daily basis as a tow truck driver, there can’t be a better way than through a series of stories designed specifically for children.”
This was a fun read. I have a daycare, and reading books is an everyday treat.. The kids love this book and ask me to read it everyday. The illustrations and colors are very appealing and the story is really fun. It’s also great, because it isn’t to long, to bore any of them, but not short so you’re left hanging either. I wish I had ordered this around the Holidays, because I would have purchased one for each of the kids. I will definitely be doing that next year.. You can’t beat the price either… I hope there are more stories coming soon!!
